Optimal Sizing of Isolated Microgrid Containing Photovoltaic/Photothermal/Wind/Diesel/Battery

The establishment of isolated microgrid is great significance in solving power supply problems offshore islands or remote mountainous areas. Aiming at the containing photovoltaic, photothermal, wind, diesel, and energy storage, a three-objective sizing optimization model proposed considering comprehensive economy cost, deficiency probability (DPSP), renewable discard rate (REDR). was solved by improved multiobjective grey wolf algorithm. An island taken as an example to optimize microgrid, rationality verified. feasibility (IMOGWO) verified comparing with (MOGWO). Three representative solution sets set compromise are obtained simulation, results satisfied load demand. And DPSP REDR reduced 7.55% 6.29% using IMOGWO. designed analyzed hybrid system might be applicable around world having similar climate conditions.
